Fancy Fruit

Bananas, apples and oranges.  Most kids have tried these fruits.  But what about all the other, funnier looking fruits you see at the supermarket?  Every now and then, treat yourself and your family to a fancy fruit.  It's fun and a great learning/tasting experience.

School Year Review

Some parents journal with pen and paper, and some journal on the computer.  How about journaling through video and letting your subject(s) tell the story?  At the end of every school year, consider letting your child talk about the past year.  Then, once they graduate from high school, they will have a living history of their school years.

Would You Rather...

The dinner table is where families have some of the best together time.  Parents learn about schools, friendships, etc.  And sometimes, it's a place to have a little fun while you eat.  "Would You Rather…" gives children the opportunity to be silly and creative while eating at the same time.
