Story of Life

Have you ever asked your parents what you were like as a kid?  Your kids are going to ask you that same question one day.  Here's a great way to document each year of your child's life.  And best of all, it's written by your children.

We welcome your comments!  Please share any New Year's traditions you have and/or what you think of this one.  Happy New Year from Family Web TV.

No Manners Night

Reward good behavior by giving your kids permission to misbehave. No manners night is a great reward for our kids. They look forward to eating without silverware and slurping their milk. Plus, they are more willing to try new foods because they are having so much fun.

Fairy Tale Reenactments

Children love fairy tales and they also love pretending. One way we connect with our children is to reenact their favorite fairy tales. They take turns being the good guys and the bad guys. They get to play and spend time with each other. Try playing out YOUR favorite fairy tale with your family tonight.

A Dime a Day

We wanted to teach our son the importance of saving money. We wanted him to see that saving a little each day will add up. One year ago, we started saving two dimes a day (one for spending, one for saving) and the result is a lesson on money management.

Naked Ball

Naked Ball is a great way to have fun AND get your kids ready for a bath. Sometimes, it's a challenge to get our boys into the tub. They lolly-gag, they procrastinate. So this is how we get them into their birthday suit. We also play Reverse Naked Ball when we want to get them dressed after bath. Hope this works for you and your family!
